What is Scouting? Scouting is adventure, family, fun, character, leadership and so much more. The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, providing programs for young people that build character.
Troop 33 is a part of the Northeast District in the Narragansett Council of the BSA.

Mission Statement: The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
The Aims of Scouting are used to help Scouts develop into honorable men. The three aims that are incorporated into every Scout activity are:

The Methods of Scouting: The Boy Scouts of America use eight fundamental methods to achieve the three aims of Scouting. The Methods of Scouting are:
